Mello-Roos - New Schools
Construction Program
The Building for Success Program
includes the construction of new schools within the
Poway Unified School District. Schools under this program
are funded with locally-generated funds as authorized
by the Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982 combined
with dollars from the California State School Facility
Program.
Schools currently in the construction
phase are:
- Del Sur Elementary
- Del Norte High School
These schools are located west
of I-15 and will serve the areas of Black Mountain Ranch
and 4S Ranch.
Willow Grove Elementary School is in the design and
approval process. This school will also be located west
of Interstate 15.
School already designed, funded, and
constructed under this program include:
- Stone Ranch Elementary School
- Monterey Ridge Elementary School
- Oak Valley Middle School
- Adobe Bluffs Elementary School
- Highland Ranch Elementary School
- Creekside Elementary School
- Shoal Creek Elementary School
- Park Village Elementary School
- Mesa Verde Middle School
- Westview High School
