Chrissa Corday

Chrissa N. Corday is a partner at the law firm, Corday & Hartney, PLC, which is located within the Poway Unified School District's boundaries in Rancho Bernardo. Ms. Corday's practice relates primarily to construction remedies for both private and public works and business litigation.  In addition to living and working within PUSD's boundaries,
she also has two children, both graduates from PUSD schools.


Andrew Berg

Andrew Berg

Mr. Berg is the Executive Manager for the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), San Diego Chapter.  He has a working knowledge of construction, contract law, and public financing. He also has experience with oversight committees, having served as on the oversight committee for Prop U and oversight committees for San Diego Community College and Sweetwater Union High School District. He is Vice Chair of the San Diego County Taxpayers Association Board of Directors and the Legislative Committee for the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce.  He was president of the Rancho Bernardo Peñasquitos Town Council, Vice Chair of the Rancho Peñasquitos Park and Recreation Council and a member of the Rancho Peñasquitos Planning Board. He has also served as treasurer of the Sundance Elementary School PTA, member of the School Site Council at Park Village Elementary School and Chair of the San Diego Hall of Champions' Say Yes to Sports Committee,  Mr. Berg has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, San Diego. Mr. Berg has three children who attend PUSD.

William C. (Bill) Bonner
 

William C. (Bill) Bonner

Mr. Bonner has resided in Rancho Bernardo since 1996, having moved here from Singapore where he was a corporate director and general manager for a service-oriented company charged with challenging opportunities associated with providing multi-faceted support to United States government agencies in South East Asia. Mr. Bonner spent the first two decades of his life in New Mexico, having been raised in an agricultural ranching environment. After graduating from college with a degree in engineering he spent two years in the United States Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean police action. He then began a series of engineering experiences primarily in project/program management for the next fifty-plus years, doing work in much of the United States and several foreign countries. Mr. Bonner is a member of several Rancho Bernardo community organizations including The Rotary Club of Rancho Bernardo and the Rancho Bernardo Community Foundation.


Lee Dulgeroff
Lee Dulgeroff

Mr. Dulgeroff is Director of the Project Management Department at San Diego Unified School District, where he oversees large capital improvement and new school construction projects.  For the past six years, he has worked on a $1.51B school facilities bond program to modernize and expand 161 existing school campuses and build 12 new schools.  He has 16 years experience in planning, designing and managing public and private facilities development projects.  Mr. Dulgeroff attended Poway schools and graduated from Poway High.  He received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering from San Diego State University and a Master of Degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Phoenix. He and his wife Kristin have two children that attend Poway Unified School District.


George W. Hawkins

George W. Hawkins

Mr. Hawkins, President and CEO of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of San Diego, has been involved with ABC since 1974. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Taxpayers Association and a member of the Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce Infrastructure Committee. Mr. Hawkins is president of his homeowners association. He is an appointed member of the La Mesa Planning Commission and the Grossmont Hospital District Citizens Bond Oversight Committee. Mr. Hawkins was an officer in the United States Navy. He served in Vietnam. Mr. Hawkins is married and has one son and four daughters and lives in La Mesa.


Jerry Ricks

 

Jerry Ricks

Mr. Ricks is a project executive and pre-construction manager with Turner Construction, the nation’s largest building contractor. He has 33 years experience in estimating and project management including the major additions to Palomar Hospital, the renovations of Scripps Clinics, the construction of the Chula Vista Veterans Home and the expansion of the San Diego Convention Center. Currently, he is providing pre-construction services on the proposed New San Diego Main Library. Mr. Ricks is highly experienced in the public funding methods utilized in large public projects. Mr. Ricks received a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from Ohio University. A twenty-year resident of Rancho Peñasquitos, Mr. Ricks has served on the Mt. Carmel Athletic Foundation and has been actively involved with soccer, water polo and swimming teams. Mr. Ricks is the father of three Mt. Carmel graduates.


John E. Sturla II


 

John E. Sturla II

Mr. Sturla is a Principal Architect, Project Manager, and Executive Secretary of the Design Review Board in the Facilities Design and Construction department at the University of California, San Diego.  During his twenty years at UCSD he has managed publicly and privately funded projects ranging from the design and construction of new educational facilities to the renovation of existing ones.  He has also had fifteen years of experience in the private sector.  He received his Bachelors of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and is a licensed architect in California.  He is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified.  Mr. Sturla has been active on the board of the San Diego Architectural Foundation, has chaired the Orchids and Onions Community Awareness Program, was Treasurer for the Board of the San Diego Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, and served as President of the North County Chapter of the AIA.  He has been a Poway resident for sixteen years.
